Before you make a purchase you should check to ensure a warranty meets your needs, as service levels vary according to manufacturer.

If you wish to buy or upgrade your warranty, please contact us with the product type, model number & serial number for a quote.
 
 
Types Of Warranty
Carry In / Return To Base
You liaise with the manufacturer if a repair is needed you take it back to their courier or centre. 1 - 2 Week turnaround

Courier Collect
If a problem is identified a courier collects and returns the product once repaired. 3 - 7 Day turnaround

Rapid Replacement
If a fault occurs the product is changed for a new or refurbished one. 1 - 3 Day turnaround

On Site
An engineer visits to solve and repair the problem. 1 -3 Day turnaround

On Site NBD
An engineer will be onsite the very next business day with parts and the repair is fast tracked. Next Day Service.

3 Year Extended
Upgrades a standard 1 year warranty to 3 years, available for most products.

4 Year Extended
Upgrades a standard 1 year warranty to 4 years, available for some products.
 
 
 
What's Covered
Most warranties cover the actual product, components & power supplies against failure, but not wear and tear, manufacturers will either provide parts or repair the product. This varies according to warranty & the manufacturer.

What's Excluded
Generally manufacturers do not cover your data, software, or any set up, installation or customisation work that you may have paid for, that's why it's important to have a back up solution.

Warranties do not cover routine, repairs, maintainance, health checks or upgrades. My Home Office Pay As You Go Support is designed to provide this service as an affordble & flexible option.
 
Extending A Warranty
Even after you have purchased a product we may be able to upgrade the warranty, but you must do this before the current warranty expires.

To buy a warranty, please provide your model and serial number.
         
 
Warranty Example - (Guide Only Actual Conditions Vary)
Example 1 - Power Adaptor Failure - 1 Year Hardware Warranty On Laptop
Your laptop power adaptor fails, following diagnosis by the manufacturer, you are provided a new or replacement power adaptor. The time taken would vary by manufacturer.

Example 2 - Hard disk failure - 1 Year Hardware Warranty On Computer
Your computer disk drive fails, destroying all of your data and you have no back up solution. The manufacturer provides a new or replacement disk drive and installs it for you, back to factory state. But all of your data remains lost and you have to pay yourself to recover it.
Note: If you had a back up you could have recovered your machine back to the state before the failure.

Example 3 - Computer Is Dropped & Breaks
You drop your computer down stairs & it is completed destroyed, this is accidental damage & not covered by the manufacturer, but it may be covered by your business or home insurance. The manufacturer will not perform any repairs.
